New gel aims to banish bacterial vaginosis in just one week

This study tests a gel called Multi-Gyn ActiGel Plus for treating bacterial vaginosis, a common vaginal infection. About 200 women will use the gel or a placebo twice daily for 7 days. The main goal is to see if the infection is gone 3 weeks after starting treatment.
