New gel aims to soothe common vaginal infection

Summary

This study tests whether a gel called Multi-Gyn ActiGel Plus can effectively treat bacterial vaginosis, a common vaginal infection. About 200 women will use the gel or a placebo twice daily for one week. Researchers will check if the infection is gone three weeks after starting treatment.
