Antibiotics may be unnecessary for bleeding prevention in cirrhosis
Disease control OngoingThis study looks at whether giving antibiotics before an endoscopic procedure is necessary for cirrhosis patients who have had variceal bleeding before. The goal is to see if skipping antibiotics is just as safe and effective. About 226 adults with cirrhosis are taking part.
