  • New bone graft shows promise for mending tough leg breaks

    This study tested a new bone graft material (OIF/β-TCP) in 35 people with severe open fractures of the shin bone (tibia). The goal was to see if it helps bones heal when they are slow to mend. Participants were followed for up to 52 weeks after the graft was implanted.
