New drug aims to help tiniest babies absorb nutrients safely
Disease control Recruiting nowThis study tests a drug called ELGN-2112 in 60 very premature infants (born before 26 weeks) and growth-restricted infants (born 26-32 weeks). The goal is to see if the drug is safe compared to a placebo. If it works, it could help these fragile babies absorb nutrients better.

Could a new drug help tiny babies feed faster?
Disease control Recruiting nowThis study tests a drug called ELGN-2112 in preterm infants born between 26 and 32 weeks who have trouble absorbing food. The goal is to see if the drug helps them reach full feeding sooner compared to a placebo. About 360 babies will take part in this Phase 3 trial.
