Can a new antibody calm the immune attack in CIDP?
Disease control TerminatedThis trial is testing whether an experimental drug called batoclimab can help adults with active chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), a condition where the immune system damages nerves, causing weakness and disability. Participants receive either batoclimab o…

Could a simple blood test track nerve damage? a study investigates NT-3 levels in neuropathy.
Knowledge-focused TerminatedThis study measures levels of a protein called NT-3 in the blood of people with peripheral neuropathy or Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Researchers will compare these levels with measures of muscle strength, mobility, and daily function. The goal is to see whether NT-3 levels corre…

Smart soles could track walking trouble in nerve disease
Knowledge-focused TerminatedThis study tested whether special insoles with pressure sensors (FEETME®) can accurately measure walking speed in people with CIDP, a nerve condition that causes walking difficulties. Researchers compared the insoles to a standard walkway system in 18 adults aged 18-75 with CIDP.…
