Could bone marrow from deceased donors cure blood cancers?
Cure Not yet recruitingThis study tests whether bone marrow from deceased donors can be used to treat people with blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. Participants receive a transplant of cryopreserved marrow from a deceased donor or standard cells from a living donor. The goal is to see if the de…

Can a Three-Drug combo shield stem cell transplant patients from a dangerous immune attack?
Disease control Not yet recruitingThis trial tests a combination of sirolimus, ruxolitinib, and mycophenolate mofetil to prevent acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) in patients receiving a half-matched stem cell transplant. The study focuses on patients with blood cancers or severe aplastic anemia who cannot …

Simpler CAR-T therapy tested for tough blood cancers
Disease control Not yet recruitingThis early study tests a new CAR-T cell therapy that is made inside the body, avoiding the complex and costly lab process. It targets two proteins (CD19 and BAFF-R) on cancer cells in people with relapsed or hard-to-treat B-cell leukemia or lymphoma. The main goals are to check s…

Tweaking donor cells may shield older transplant patients from a dangerous complication
Prevention Not yet recruitingResearchers are testing whether removing a specific type of immune cell, called CD45RA-positive naive T cells, from donor stem cells can prevent graft-versus-host disease in older adults undergoing stem cell transplants for acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome. The trial en…
