New study aims to reduce repeat thyroid biopsies

Summary
This study looks at why some samples from thyroid nodule biopsies are not good enough for diagnosis. About 160 people with thyroid nodules will have their biopsy samples checked right away to see if more samples are needed. The goal is to find factors that lead to poor samples, so doctors can reduce repeat procedures and improve patient comfort.
