New study tracks how Gene-Targeted combo therapy fights tough lung cancers
NCT ID NCT06494540
First seen Nov 01, 2025
Summary
This study follows 600 adults in Germany with a type of advanced lung cancer that has spread. They are receiving a combination of two immunotherapy drugs (tremelimumab and durvalumab) plus chemotherapy as their first treatment. The goal is to see how well this treatment works in people whose tumors have certain genetic changes, like KRAS or STK11 mutations. The study does not give any new treatment—it simply collects real-world data to help doctors choose the best therapy for each patient.
