Heart patients may get safer blood thinner plan after stents
NCT ID NCT05418556
First seen Apr 07, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a personalized blood-thinning plan is safer and just as effective as the standard one for people with coronary artery disease who have had a stent placed. About 3,944 adults will receive either a tailored plan (shorter time on two blood thinners, then just one) or the usual approach. The goal is to reduce bleeding while still preventing heart attacks and other serious events.
