Mind over motion: new therapy boosts stroke rehab

Summary
This study tests whether adding action observation (watching movements) and motor imagery (imagining movements) to standard physical therapy can improve balance, daily function, and quality of life in people who had a stroke within the last year. About 56 participants will be assigned to either standard rehab alone or standard rehab plus these mental training techniques. The goal is to see if these simple, low-cost additions help the brain re-learn movement better than therapy alone.
