New vibration therapy could supercharge stroke rehab walking gains

NCT ID NCT07529054

First seen Apr 17, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding a vibrating device (Vibramoov®) to robotic walking training helps stroke survivors walk better than robotic training alone. Forty adults who had a stroke at least 3 months ago will take part in a 4-week rehab program. Researchers will measure walking distance, balance, and blood markers of brain healing. The goal is to see if the combo therapy leads to greater improvements in walking ability.
