Pistachio power: daily nuts may boost energy and fullness for GLP-1 users
NCT ID NCT07244445
First seen Nov 26, 2025
Summary
This study tests whether eating 2 ounces of pistachios daily for 12 weeks helps people on GLP-1 medications (like semaglutide or tirzepatide) feel fuller, have more energy, and improve their diet quality. Researchers will track satiety, fatigue, mood, and body composition in 108 adults who have been on these drugs for at least three months. The goal is to see if a simple dietary addition can enhance nutrition and well-being during weight management.
