Study aims to cut unused opioids after cancer surgery

Summary

This study looks at how many opioid pain pills patients actually take after surgery for bladder, kidney, or prostate cancer. About 684 adults will report their opioid use 30 days after leaving the hospital. The study also tests whether a simple pamphlet helps people safely dispose of leftover pills.
