Summary

This study looks at whether an over-the-counter supplement called MitoQ and a technique called ischemic conditioning (using a blood pressure cuff to briefly restrict blood flow) can improve blood vessel function in people who have had a stroke. About 30 stroke survivors will take part. The goal is to see if these simple treatments can help lower the risk of another stroke and improve overall health.
