NCT ID NCT06983366

First seen Apr 30, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a new ultrasound measurement called the Lung Sliding Index (LSI) to see if it can help doctors tell apart different lung diseases, such as COPD, pneumonia, and pulmonary edema. Researchers will measure LSI in 700 adults with various lung conditions and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if LSI can accurately distinguish between diseases and how it relates to disease severity.
