Sugar water injection may beat anesthetic for knee arthritis pain

Summary
This study tests whether adding a sugar solution (dextrose) to numbing injections around the knee nerves provides better pain relief than numbing medicine alone for people with chronic knee osteoarthritis. Sixty adults with knee arthritis will receive a series of three injections targeting four specific nerves. The main goal is to see if the sugar solution reduces pain more effectively 15 days after the final injection.
