Back surgery patients: hidden heart risks revealed

Summary

This study tracks 180 adults having elective lower back surgery to see how often heart injury occurs within 30 days after the operation. Researchers will also identify factors that make this injury more likely. The goal is to better understand and potentially prevent heart complications in spine surgery patients.
