First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new hand therapy for people who have lost hand function after a stroke. 30 participants in the early recovery phase will either do standard rehab or use a special brain-computer interface that turns their concentration into virtual hand movements. The goal is to see if this technology can improve hand control better than standard therapy alone.
