Summary

This study adapts a group program called Regulating Together for children aged 8-12 with autism and intellectual disability who struggle with emotion dysregulation. The goal is to teach practical strategies to reduce irritability, aggression, and other challenging behaviors. Ten families will participate in twice-weekly sessions, and researchers will measure changes in emotional reactivity and satisfaction.
