Summary

This study tests whether teaching diabetes self-management in churches, led by trained community health workers, helps Marshallese people with type 2 diabetes control their blood sugar. About 288 adults with diabetes and their family members will take part. The program is delivered in the Marshallese language and focuses on family support to improve health.
