First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study is testing a new device called PatenSee that can check the health of dialysis access points without touching the patient. About 90 adults with kidney failure who need regular dialysis will take part. The device uses light and sound to see and hear the access point, and researchers will compare its findings to standard checks done by doctors and nurses.
