New hope for hard-to-treat lymphoma: triple-drug combo enters human testing

NCT ID NCT05182957

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of three drugs (an immunotherapy called anti-PD-1 plus lenalidomide and azacitidine) can shrink tumors or stop them from growing in people with a rare type of blood cancer called peripheral T-cell lymphoma that has not responded to standard treatments. About 31 adults with measurable disease will receive the treatment and be followed for up to 3 years to see how many achieve a complete or partial response. The goal is to find a more effective option for this difficult-to-treat condition.
