New asthma drug candidate AMG 691 begins first human safety tests

Summary
This early-stage study tests the safety of a new drug called AMG 691 in healthy volunteers and people with mild-to-moderate asthma. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and how the body processes it. Only 21 participants are enrolled, and the study is not yet recruiting. This is a first step to see if AMG 691 might help control asthma symptoms in the future.
