New knee gel injection aims to cushion joints and reduce pain

Summary

This study tests a new knee injection called ALLOHEAL for people with knee osteoarthritis. The injection contains natural substances to reduce friction in the joint and ease pain. About 286 adults aged 40 to 79 with knee pain will receive either ALLOHEAL or a similar approved treatment to see if it works just as well.
