New zygomatic implants aim to restore smiles in severe jaw bone loss

Summary

This study tests a special dental implant system for people whose upper jaw has lost too much bone for regular implants. About 85 adults with severe jawbone loss will receive the implants and be followed for 12 months. The main goal is to see how often sinus infections occur, and the study also tracks pain, satisfaction, and quality of life.
