New dental implant aims to help those with severe jaw bone loss

Summary

This study tests a special dental implant for people whose upper jaw has lost too much bone for regular implants. About 85 adults with severe jawbone loss will receive the implant and be followed for 12 months. The main goal is to check for sinus infections, but the study will also look at implant success, patient comfort, and quality of life.
