NCT ID NCT04234022
Summary
This study aims to see if a drug called Imuthiol (Zn-DDC) can kill cancer cells, especially cancer stem cells, in the lab. Researchers will test the drug on bone marrow samples donated by 70 patients with blood cancers like multiple myeloma and acute leukemia. The goal is to gather information to see if this affordable drug should be tested in future treatment trials, either alone or combined with other medications.
