New hope for hard-to-treat ovarian cancer: experimental drug combo shows promise
NCT ID NCT05198804
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called ZN-c3, given alone or with another drug (niraparib), in 117 people with ovarian cancer that stopped responding to platinum-based chemotherapy. The goal was to find safe doses and see if the treatment could shrink tumors or slow the disease. While not a cure, it aims to offer a new option for controlling advanced ovarian cancer.
