Summary
This study compared two types of dental implants—one made from zirconia (a ceramic) and the other from titanium—for replacing a single tooth. Researchers wanted to see if the zirconia implant worked as well as the titanium one when placed using a fully digital workflow. A total of 121 adults participated, and the main focus was on bone level changes around the implant after one year.
