Summary
This study looks at how a gene called ZIP8 may influence alcohol drinking and brain activity. Healthy volunteers aged 21 to 60 with European ancestry will receive alcohol through an IV and can press a button to get more. They will also have brain scans and complete tasks. The goal is to understand why some people are more at risk for alcohol use disorder.
