New pill could ease celiac symptoms even on a Gluten-Free diet

Summary
This study tests whether the drug ZED1227 can reduce ongoing celiac disease symptoms in people who already follow a strict gluten-free diet. About 356 adults with confirmed celiac disease will receive either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to see if the drug improves stomach pain, bloating, and nausea, and helps the gut heal.
