New drug shows promise for shrinking advanced thyroid tumors before surgery

Summary
This study tests the drug zanzalintinib given before surgery for people with advanced thyroid cancer. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors and make surgery more effective, while also checking for side effects. About 45 adults with certain types of advanced thyroid cancer will take part.
