First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested a drug called Z-endoxifen in 62 women with a type of breast cancer that has spread or come back. The goal was to find the safest dose and see how well it blocks estrogen, which can fuel cancer growth. Participants had estrogen receptor-positive (ER+) cancer and had tried other treatments. The study focused on side effects and tumor response, not a cure.
