Summary
This study is testing a special after-school program called YES-IDEAS, designed to prevent youth violence. It aims to empower middle school students by having them design and lead community improvement projects, with the goal of reducing fights and bullying while promoting positive behaviors. Researchers are comparing this program to regular after-school activities across several schools in Michigan to see which is more effective.
