First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a team-based care model can help youth aged 14-17 with mental health and addiction issues get faster, better care. About 247 teens will be randomly assigned to either the new team approach or usual care at hospital clinics in Toronto. The goal is to see if the team model improves daily functioning, reduces substance use, and makes youth and families more satisfied with services.
