Teens take charge: Co-Creating healthier cities across continents

Summary
This project aims to prevent future health problems by improving the daily habits of teenagers. It brings together 1,000 adolescents (ages 12-18) from disadvantaged neighborhoods in Denmark, the Netherlands, Nigeria, and South Africa. Over three years, the teens will work with researchers and local leaders to design and test changes to their local environments, like parks and community spaces, to encourage more physical activity, better sleep, and less screen time.
