New study aims to unlock secrets of stroke recovery in young people

NCT ID NCT07019493

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is testing a detailed health assessment process called 'deep phenotyping' in up to 100 young adults aged 18 to 55 who have had a stroke. Researchers will collect a wide range of information and samples to better understand each person's condition and recovery. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, and to explore how factors like biology, age, and lifestyle affect recovery. This pilot study will help plan larger future studies.
