Summary

This study tests whether practicing yoga for 12 weeks can reduce symptoms of mild-to-moderate depression without using antidepressant medication. Researchers will compare a group doing yoga to a group receiving education about holistic health. The trial involves 180 adults with depression who are not currently taking antidepressants or in therapy.
