Summary

This study tested a 3-month program combining yoga and pelvic floor physiotherapy for women with endometriosis. 82 women started, and 50 completed the program. Researchers measured changes in chronic pelvic pain, painful sex, and quality of life using questionnaires. The goal was to see if this combined approach could help manage symptoms.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
Yoga and pelvic floor physiotherapy
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a non-drug way to manage chronic pelvic pain and painful intercourse in endometriosis.
What could go wrong
This is a small, retrospective study without a control group, so results may not be generalizable. The program is time-intensive (12 weekly sessions).
