New drug aims to shrink heart artery plaque in australian trial

Summary

This study tests whether adding YN001 to standard cholesterol-lowering therapy can reduce plaque in heart arteries. About 24 adults with coronary atherosclerosis and at least one blocked artery will receive YN001 intravenously. The main goal is to see changes in plaque volume and composition measured by CT scans.
