New cancer drug enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat tumors

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new cancer drug called YL201, both alone and combined with other cancer therapies, in patients with advanced solid tumors that haven't responded to standard treatments. Researchers will first determine safe dosage levels, then expand to more patients to better understand side effects and whether the drug helps shrink tumors. The trial is enrolling adults with various advanced cancers including prostate, lung, and esophageal cancers.
