This study tested whether Yangxinshi pills, a traditional Chinese medicine, can improve exercise tolerance in people who recently had a heart stent procedure (PCI). About 681 adults took either Yangxinshi or the standard drug trimetazidine for a period. The main goal was to see if Yangxinshi helps patients walk or exercise longer without getting tired, as measured by a special exercise test.
