Could a new pill boost brain power in schizophrenia?

NCT ID NCT07084831

First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests a new medicine, Xanomeline/Trospium (XT), to see if it can improve thinking and memory in adults with schizophrenia over 24 and 52 weeks. About 171 participants will take XT and have their cognitive skills, symptoms, and quality of life measured. The goal is to find out if XT can help with cognitive problems that current antipsychotics often don't address.
