First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This early-phase trial is testing a drug called xaluritamig in about 50 people with Ewing sarcoma that has returned or not responded to standard treatments. The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects. Researchers will also measure how the drug moves through the body and look for any signs that it might be fighting the cancer.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for Ewing sarcoma that has stopped responding to standard therapy.

What could go wrong

This is a very early phase 1 trial with only 50 participants, so it is primarily testing safety and dosing. It may not show strong anti-cancer effects, and side effects are unknown.
