Surgery or stretches? trial seeks best fix for common wrist bump

NCT ID NCT07162415

Summary

This study aims to find out if surgery or simple hand exercises work better for adults with painful wrist ganglions (fluid-filled lumps). Researchers will randomly assign 220 participants to either have the ganglion surgically removed or to follow a conservative treatment plan of self-guided exercises and normal hand use. The main goal is to see which group reports less pain, better hand function, and higher satisfaction over 6 to 12 months.
