Nerve surgery added to cyst removal: does it help wrist pain?
NCT ID NCT04932122
Summary
This study aimed to find out if adding a small nerve cut to the standard surgery for removing a wrist ganglion cyst leads to better results. Researchers compared pain levels, hand function, and strength in adults who had either just the cyst removed or the cyst removed plus the nerve procedure. The trial was stopped early after enrolling only 3 participants.
