New Wound-Reading device could help surgeons close wounds at the right time

Summary
This study is testing a new device called WounDx™ that gives surgeons information about a wound to help them decide the best time to close it. The device is experimental and not yet approved by the FDA. About 40 people with large wounds on their arms or legs will take part. The final decision to close the wound is always up to the surgeon.
