NCT ID NCT02577120
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special cream (EpiCeram) can help keep healed chronic wounds from reopening. About 100 adults with healed diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, or venous leg ulcers will use the cream or a placebo for 3 months. The goal is to see if the cream restores skin barrier function and reduces the chance of the wound coming back.
