New brain implant could revolutionize seizure monitoring

Summary

This study tests a new wireless device implanted under the scalp that records brain activity for over a year in people with uncontrolled epilepsy. Nineteen adults will use the device day and night to see how well it captures seizures and how safe it is. The goal is to improve long-term seizure tracking without the hassle of wires or frequent hospital visits.
